7th Avenue looking West:
30m (96') total distance building front to building front
20m (66') right-of-way.

This view of 7th Avenue looking west shows one of four Traditional Pattern residential street types.  The right-of-way is 20 metre (66') wide.  Note the above ground location of joint utility lines.  Parking is allowed on both sides of this 8.2 metre (27') wide street requiring drivers who meet head on to take turns or "cue" in this "cueing street".  Sidewalks are provided on both sides but attach to the curb.  Public right-of-way space that on other streets is given over to grass boulevards that separate parking lanes from the sidewalk is here given over to "front yard" space.  Residents are quick to lay claim to this space, marking their claim with hedges and fences.
